Are you ready to ignite your creativity and learn the art of candle making? Look no further! Our Candle Making Class offers you an experience to craft your very own unique candles, let us host a fun, hands-on activity at your next girls night, baby shower, hens party or even corporate team building event.
About the Class: Classes are run as a private group event just for you and your crew, we come to your location with everything to make your own candle supplied. In our Candle Making Class, you'll dive into the world of wax, wicks, and fragrances. I will guide you through every step of the candle making process, from choosing the right materials to creating stunning designs. No prior experience is required – just bring your enthusiasm and curiosity!
What You'll Learn:
- Introduction to Candle Making: Discover the basics of candle making, from the different types of equipment used to understanding the general process.
- Safety First: Understand the importance of safety measures while working with hot wax and open flames.
- Creating Your Signature Fragrance: Explore the world of fragrances and blend your own unique fragrance to create a personalised candle if this is what you would like to do or you are welcome to use our standard fragrances.
- Hands-On Crafting: Get your hands dirty (in a good way!) as you pour, and decorate your candles into works of art.
- Expert Guidance: I'm passionate about candle making and bring years of experience to the classroom. I'm here to answer your questions and provide personalised tips.
- Smaller Class Sizes: To ensure personalised attention, we keep our class sizes smaller, allowing for one-on-one interaction (up to 10 people). Please get in touch for bigger groups as we may be able to cater to your needs.
- Quality Materials: We provide top-notch materials so that you can create candles that not only look amazing but also burn beautifully.
- Take Home Your Creations: At the end of the class, you'll proudly take home your handmade candles to enjoy or gift to your loved ones.
- Relaxing and Therapeutic: Candle making is not only a creative outlet but also a relaxing and meditative experience that allows you to unwind from the stresses of everyday life.
Pricing: $100 per person, all inclusive of everything needed to create your own bespoke Mila Mae and Co candle.
Large group bookings over 20, please enquire for special pricing.
Booking Request: Please fill in your details and we will be in touch to confirm availability, this is a request form only. Once we have confirmed the details with you, a non refundable 50% deposit will be required to hold the booking, full payment will be required 4 weeks prior to your event. If your booking is within 4 weeks of the event date we will require full upfront payment. Deposits are transferable to another date up until 4 weeks prior to your event.
We require a minimum of 8 participants to run a class. Travel costs apply for locations outside of a 30km radius of Auckland CBD.
